We are delighted to announce that the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the biggest Irish event in Asia, the ‘Green Ireland Festival’ (GIF), on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th 2024, at Yoyogi Park Panorama Square, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

Formerly known as the 'I Love Ireland Festival' or ILIF, we are excited to bring back this fantastic 2-day event to celebrate all things GREEN and IRISH!

This year the annual festival has been rebranded to help create greater brand awareness of Ireland through the colour green, additionally highlighting sustainability as a core principle of this and all future festivals moving forward.

So come join in the craic, bring your friends, family, and colleagues, and wear something green!

Get ready for a fun-filled Patrick's Day weekend with excellent Irish whiskies, Irish beer, Irish gourmet food and drink, Irish music and dancing, and all things Irish right on the green in Yoyogi Park!

This festival is an event beloved by families and friends of Ireland, the local Irish community in Japan and many more.

GIF (formerly ILIF) has been organised by the IJCC every year since its founding and it has been run by a group of committed volunteers who form the current Green Ireland Festival Committee. To continue to grow the festival and make it more sustainable, we need to secure more funding to cover the event costs. We are holding another crowdfunding campaign this year to raise funding for this year's festival and future festivals and we sincerely appreciate any support possible.
