IJCC-ACCJ Joint Networking 2026

This year we are delighted to hold our annual joint networking event with the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) at Ireland House in Yotsuya. One of the most popular events in the IJCC calendar, we strongly encourage early registration due to limited spaces.

Please invite your clients, friends and other professional contacts to enjoy an evening of top-class Irish food, drink and networking with our friends from the ACCJ in this exclusive venue. The event will also feature remarks from Irish Embassy representatives as well as other special guests.

About the Performers

Dai Komatsu /fiddle

Dai came across Irish traditional music in 2004 and visited Ireland 2 years later, staying in county Clare where he studied traditional music from the well-known local fiddle player Pat O’Connor.

He has since performed on the largest stage for St. Patricks' Day in Tokyo in Yoyogi Park in 2018, 2019, and 2023.

In 2019, he established Ode Inc., a company which produces music events and several outdoor events in various locations. The company was also involved in promotion of the Rugby World Cup 2019.

Eriko Mizukami/Uilleann Pipes

Eriko was introduced to Irish music through the university club "g-celt” at Tokyo University of the Arts, where she began playing the uilleann pipes. After gaining experience playing in various venues including sessions and live performances in Japan, she studied at Irish Music Studies MA at the University of Limerick, Ireland from 2019 to 2020, where she studied about Irish traditional music, not only music performance, but also its history, culture, and social contexts. Now based mainly in Tokyo, she plays the pipes at various events and sessions.

Koji Nagao/guitar

Koji Nagao is a guitarist, with a specialisation in traditional Irish music. He started to learn to play Irish music with guitar at various sessions in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland.
He is a member of several Celtic music groups, one of which won the competitions at the International Celtic Music Festival in Spain (2012) & France (2018).
