On Thursday, 29th June the IJCC held our first event in collaboration with Nikkei ScoutAsia.

Nikkei Asia Editor-in-Chief Mr. Shin Nakayama shared an insightful account of the current landscape of Japanese politics and government. His inside knowledge from his background as a political news writer was a special treat for our audience as he shared his thoughts, experiences and predictions on Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s agenda and future direction. Following the main presentation, Mr. Nakayama then held a Q&A session answering questions from our audience. Thank you to Mr. Nakayama for an exceptional and very insightful briefing session!

After the main event, all guests proceeded next door for a networking reception with food and refreshments, courtesy of Nikkei. The event took place in the beautiful Nikkei Headquarters in Otemachi.
