On the evening of Tanabata on 7th July, the IJCC co-hosted the Summer Cocktail 2023 event in collaboration with 15 other chambers at the Tokyo Edition Toranomon.

Thanks to the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (SpCCJ) and all the collaborating chambers, tickets for this exclusive event sold out in record time. Thank you to everyone for their amazing support of the event!

Participants were asked to write down a wish following Tanabata, a Japanese holiday tradition. By the end of the night, the Tanabata tree was decorated with many wishes from all of our guests.

Once the room settled in, a kampai, with representatives from each Chamber, was held on stage to kick off the evening. 

Delicious food and drink were shared amongst a beautiful tapestry of international members and friends. Attendees were able to enjoy refreshing The Buskers Irish Whiskey highballs from our Platinum Sponsor on this evening. Special thanks to The Buskers for sponsoring and supporting the event!

After the main event, guests moved up to the 31st floor for a nijikai in the Tokyo Edition Toranomon's Lobby Bar. Members and friends continued networking well into the night with a breathtaking backdrop of Tokyo Tower.
