On Thursday 24th February, the IJCC held the "Tales from the Regions - Fukui" event.

Moderated by IJCC director Pat Ryan, Mr. Robert Hennesey, organizer of Fukui Patrick’s Day, Owner of Irish Bar Shelbourne and Assistant Professor at Fukui University of Technology made a presentation about Fukui’s culture, industry, business and Irish connections. We also welcomed Ms. Yurie Okusa from  Fukui Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who introduced her chamber, its members, and some interesting businesses from Fukui. 

It was a great pleasure for us to see many participants joining from Ireland and Japan. Thank you very much for your participation and we look forward to welcoming you all at our next event.
