On the 15th of February, the IJCC held our regular Third Thursday event at An SÓLÁS in Yoyogi. 

We were very delighted to have special guest His Excellency, Mr. Mitsura Kitano, former Ambassador of Japan to Ireland on the evening. He shared a few words, remarking on his fond time serving as Ambassador of Japan in Ireland. Thank you again Mr. Kitano for taking the time to meet with our members and friends of the IJCC.

IJCC President Yoshihiro Tsuchiya also shared updates on the many St. Patricks Day festivities that will be taking place nationwide across Japan this year after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very excited to celebrate Ireland's national holiday at these events with you over the next month.

Finally, we had our meishi draw for the evening, congratulations again to our two winners!

It was great to see such a buzz in the room and we hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did.
