Event Report: Transatlantic Trivia Night with the CCCJ
On Thursday, June 18th, the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) and Canadian Chamber of Commerce Japan (CCCJ) joined forces for our first ever “Transatlantic Trivia Night” – a pub quiz and evening of networking at An SÓLÁS Irish Pub in Yoyogi.
The quiz began at 19:00 following networking time and opening remarks from representatives from the IJCC and CCCJ. Teams were assigned from members of both chambers, and attendees worked together to answer a range of increasingly difficult trivia on Japan, Canada and Ireland.
We were delighted to see attendees making the most of the time between rounds and after the quiz to relax and network with members of both chambers.
The teams competed for the Grand Prize of 4 tickets to Afternoon Tea at the Conrad Tokyo Hotel, a Corporate Member of the IJCC.
The top three teams were also entered into a prize draw to win gifts generously provided by IJCC and CCCJ sponsors: ONODA Inc., The BUSKER Irish Whiskey, Adria International Co. Ltd., and Robert Walters.
While all teams put up a fair fight, a huge congratulations goes out to Team 1 (first place), Team 3 (second place), and Team 4 (third place).
