I Love Ireland Festival 2017 – Asia’s largest attended St Patricks Day’s Day Event

The IJCC organised "I Love Ireland Festival” was held last weekend in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.

With it’s largest ever attendance of 110,000, it continues to be Asia’s largest St Patrick's Day event.

This year we held the event over 2 days for the first time. Many special guests joined us including the Irish fashion designer Paul Costelloe, Minister Paschal Donohoe, Ambassador of Ireland to Japan Anne Barrington and Miss World Ireland Niamh Kennedy.

Sports was well represented with attendees able to try their hand at Gaelic Football and Street Rugby.

Over 40 booths provided food, drink, music and information on Ireland.

A 360-degree video of the event is available (http://tohoku360.com/news/ireland-festival2017).

The "I Love Ireland Festival 2018" will be held at Yoyogi Park and other venues in Shibuya on 17-18 March 2018. We are greatly looking forward to seeing you there!
