Hello everyone! 

My name is Mika Toyono Pelletier, and I am joining the IJCC as an Events Intern! I look forward to getting to know more about the Chamber and all of those who are involved. I love meeting and working with others, and am interested in international connections of businesses so I am excited to embrace all the IJCC has to offer! 

I am half Japanese and half American, born and raised in Massachusetts. Being raised in mixed cultures and having friends of so many different backgrounds, I want to learn more about the connections between Japan and Ireland! I also coach football at a Premier League club’s school in Japan, so I want to deepen my connection to Japanese-European relations.  

I am currently an International Business Student at Temple University, Japan Campus. Outside of academics, I was a member of the Emerging Leaders Program, captain of the Futsal Club, and help out with various events on campus! In my free time, I love playing football, reading, and exploring the city. My ideal off days are comprised of finding new cafes to read and journal in. 

I am looking forward to my journey as an intern at IJCC!
