Hi there! 

My name is Barry Dowling and I will be joining the IJCC in a voluntary capacity as an Events Coordinator. I’m delighted for the opportunity and look forward to assisting the chamber in any capacity.  

I am a brand-new arrival here in Japan and at present am working as an Assistant Language Teacher in Tokyo.  I am a graduate of the International Business program at Maynooth University and have also gained some experience in the events sphere through previous employment within the hospitality industry.  

Prior to moving to Japan, I have had the opportunity to live and work in Canada, Poland, China, and the UK and take great interest in cross-border relationships as they pertain to trade and commerce.  

I am excited to apply all of my prior learnings and experience to a role within the chamber.
