Tales from the Regions Wakayama - Event Report
On Wednesday 30th June, the IJCC held a "Tales from the Regions" event focused on Wakayama.
Moderated by IJCC director Aisling Barry, we had remarks from Ms. Chitose Kametani, Section Chief of the Tanabe Board of Education Lifelong Learning Division. After the remarks, Mr. Paul Finn, a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) at Tanabe city gave us an informative presentation about Tanabe city & Wakayama prefecture’s industries and the region's Irish connections, with some interesting videos about Wakayama’s characteristics.
