Diversity in Rugby: The Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to join the next Rugby Alliance event

By now, you know the facts about the Rugby World Cup 2019. From September 20 to November 2, 48 games involving 20 international teams will be held in 12 host cities across Japan. It will be the first time this global event has been held in Asia. And Japan is poised to welcome over 400,000 visitors across 44 days, attracting a worldwide media audience from over 200 nations.

I Love Ireland Festival 2019

We would like to proudly announce that we will be hosting the biggest Irish event in Asia ‘I Love Ireland Festival (ILIF)’ again this year, on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th 2019, at Yoyogi Park Events Square, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. This will be the 6th edition of ILIF, and we would like to sincerely thank all our sponsors, partners, and visitors for enjoying the festival and supporting us to make ILIF an annual spring occasion.

And the annual St. Patrick’s Day Tokyo Parade will take place Sunday 17th 2019 along Omotesando Street, from 1pm.

The EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will enter into force on 1 February 2019, after four years of negotiations. Together the two economies make up for 30% of the world's GDP.
