We are delighted to announce that the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) will be hosting a joint networking event with the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) on Thursday, February 1st at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence.

This is a great opportunity to invite clients, and other professional contacts, to enjoy an evening of Irish food, drink and business networking. Also an excellent opportunity to catch up with fellow members after the winter holidays.

Our popular family event is back this year again!

The IJCC is delighted to announce that the IJCC Family Christmas Party 2017 will be held at La Boheme Restaurant on Sunday 10th December from 11:00 to 14:00.

A great day of fun and festivities for the whole family. A buffet lunch catering to both adults and children will be provided.  And a magician will entertain our children all afternoon.

It’s also rumoured that Santa Claus will be popping by to check on who is being "naughty or nice"………!!

The highlight of the IJCC’s calendar, The Ireland Japan Business Awards 2017, will be held on Wednesday 22 November at Conrad Tokyo. 

Each year, the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) presents business awards to key companies making outstanding contributions to Ireland-Japan business relations. The recipients are announced at the Business Awards in the presence of H.E. Anne Barrington, Ambassador of Ireland to Japan, and Patron of the IJCC.

IJCC members, and friends of the IJCC, please join us in welcoming the Tánaiste (Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland) to Japan.   

On September 28th, the IJCC will host a luncheon at the Roppongi Hills Club. We'll be joined by the Tánaiste who will share her thoughts on her trade mission to Japan, on recent developments in EU-Japan economic relations and the future of the Ireland-Japan business relationship. The theme of the event is "Recent developments in EU-Japan relations and opportunities for the Ireland, EU and Japan business relationship.".

The Irish Run the World

On Saturday, 23 September 2017, The Ireland Funds Young Leaders from around the world will host an event together – The Irish Run the World, a Global 5km run. The event will span over 20hrs and cover 85km in 17 cities around the world. And the Tokyo event will take place in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.

You can support by running or by making a gift. Proceeds will support the work of The Ireland Funds in assisting worthy charities across the island of Ireland and Irish causes around the world.
