The Irish Run the World

On Saturday, 23 September 2017, The Ireland Funds Young Leaders from around the world will host an event together – The Irish Run the World, a Global 5km run. The event will span over 20hrs and cover 85km in 17 cities around the world. And the Tokyo event will take place in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.

You can support by running or by making a gift. Proceeds will support the work of The Ireland Funds in assisting worthy charities across the island of Ireland and Irish causes around the world.

We are delighted to announce that the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) will be hosting a joint networking event with the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) on Thursday, 21 September at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence.

This is a great event to invite clients and other professional contacts for an enjoyable evening. Also an excellent opportunity to network and catch up with fellow members after the return from summer break.

As the Ireland Mens national rugby team prepare to face Japan in two tests (Tokyo and Shizuoka), we will hear from Joe Schmidt (Head Coach), Paul Dean (Team Manager) and a player from the touring squad. Join us for an interactive discussion, where you'll have an opportunity to ask your question to the panel.

The upcoming tour of Japan has received heightened interest with last month's announcement that Ireland will play Japan in the pool stage of Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.
